When working with models and talent, it's important to work out equipment and lighting issues quickly and before the staging and setup begins. For accurate colors, proper color balance is achieved with a calibrated gray card ( test shot, lower right ).
Once technical details are worked out, we can begin building and designing the shot, with the crew and project director. Working on site from a shot list or story board is common.
